Ughur (pronounced weiger) 1st day of Silk Road Tour

 Xinjiang Ughur Autonomous Region is located in the very far northwest region of China.  It took 4 hours to fly there from Nanjing. 

 This was our first day on the tour.  We first came to this Bazaar.  It's called the Er Dao Qiao Market.  It's supposed to be the biggest in the world.  It was very nice, lots to see and buy.  You need to barter.

It is mostly Muslim here.  You can see the influence everywhere.

 I should have bought one of these vases.  I liked them and thought I'd find them again, but never found them like these.  Oh well!

This was across the street.  They also have western influence thrown in.
